Day 1- 9:00 am Depart Portland to Silver Falls State Park

Prepare to be dazzled by the “crown jewel” of Oregon State Parks! Silver Falls State Park is a breathtaking gem that shines bright on the national and international stage. With its endless recreational opportunities, historic charm, and jaw-dropping beauty, it’s easy to see why it’s so beloved. This sprawling 9,200-acre property sits in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, less than an hour away from Oregon’s capital, Salem. Get ready to witness the awe-inspiring South Falls, a 177-foot curtain of water that will leave you spellbound. And, as if that wasn’t enough, we’ll also take a stroll behind North Falls for a truly unforgettable experience!

After lunch (on your own) in charming Silverton, we’ll head out for some wine tasting. So, come along on this adventure and let’s drink in the beauty of Oregon together!

Get ready for a grape escape! After lunch, we’re whisking you away to a Willamette Valley Winery. This valley was once a fruit and flower hub, but now it’s a top-dog in the cool-climate wine game. The secret to their success? The volcanic Jory soil, elevation, and micro-climates team up to create the perfect Pinot Noir. Prepare to sip on some of Oregon’s finest wine while taking in the stunning vineyards.

As night falls, the charming town of Eugene awaits. Get lost in its delightful streets and soak up the local vibes.

Day 2- 7:30 am   Depart for Crater Lake National Park

Get ready for a scenic joyride to Crater Lake, but first, we’ll hit up one of Oregon’s mightiest waterfalls, Salt Creek Falls! Towering at 286 feet (that’s 87 meters for our metric pals), it’s the state’s second-highest single drop waterfall and one of Southern Oregon’s most powerful, gushing out an average of 50,000 gallons per minute.

Once we arrive at Crater Lake, we’ll soak up the awe-inspiring vistas, visit the visitor centers, ogle at the overlooks, and explore the Historic Lodge. It’s no wonder Crater Lake has bewitched people for centuries, from the Native Americans who first discovered its mesmerizing charm to modern-day adventurers. You won’t find another place on Earth with such a pure and deep blue lake, surrounded by steep cliffs towering almost two thousand feet high, two enchanting islands, and a tumultuous volcanic past.

We’ll take a lunch break in Crater Lake National Park (lunch not included) before heading to our overnight stay in Bend, Oregon.

Day 3- Bend to Portland

Join us on a journey to the High Desert Museum this morning, where artful exhibits, captivating creatures, and fascinating history collide! Rated #1 on Bend’s TripAdvisor list, this unique museum whisks you away to a different world and time. Get up close and personal with native wildlife like river otters, bobcats, and fierce birds of prey. See art through a new perspective and rub elbows with historic figures, who’ll spin tales of Oregon’s early pioneers and explorers. Step back in time and witness an authentic 1904 homestead and sawmill, or delve into the rich culture and history of Native Americans. Come and explore this enchanting world!

Our next adventure takes us to the majestic Smith Rock State Park, one of the 7 Wonders of Oregon. Its colossal rock formations have lured in daredevil climbers from every corner of the planet since the 80s, but now it’s not just them feeling the call of the wild. The park’s name is shrouded in mystery, with some believing it’s a tribute to John Smith, a lawman from Linn County, while others say it’s named after Pvt. Volk Smith, who died battling the Northern Paiute in the park back in 1863. Who do you think deserves the credit?

Hold on tight, folks! Our next destination is the one and only Timberline Lodge! Brace yourself for an unforgettable experience that’ll leave you spellbound. This place is a masterpiece, a true testament to the rugged and untamed spirit of the Pacific Northwest. A colossal snow palace perched atop Mt. Hood that offers year-round skiing. Trust us, this isn’t your average, run-of-the-mill ski lodge. It’s a historic landmark, and rightly so. With almost two million visitors every year, Timberline Lodge is a hotbed of tourism and wonder. The architecture is mind-boggling, and the fact that it’s still used as a ski lodge and mountain retreat is awe-inspiring. Get ready to be blown away!
