CAPE TOWN – 3 NIGHTS
DAY 1 – Arrive to Cape Town
You will be picked up at the Cape Town Airport by your private driver if arriving as a group.
**If arriving independently, taxi or similar arrangements will be necessary to your hotel
- Settle in to your hotel and rest up from your long journey – free day- Adjust to time different etc!
DAY 2 – Explore the area starting with a city tour with stops timed in for shopping and lunch
- V&A Waterfront & Wharf shopping district

OPTIONAL AFTERNOON EXCURSION:
- Boat tour to Robben Island – World Heritage Site
- Ferry to island and tour – 3.5 hrs

DAY 3 – Drive around the cape for a scenic loop excursion
Scenic drive to the eastern side of the Cape along the coastline then over the mountain (optional to drive to the Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point Lighthouse).

- Boulders Beach – Penguins free roaming the beach area
- Boulders Beach is a sheltered beach made up of inlets between granite boulders, from which the name originated. It is located on the Cape Peninsula, in Simon’s Town in the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is also commonly known as Boulders Bay and a popular tourist spot because of a colony of African penguins which settled there in 1982

DAY 4 – Drive to West Cape Wine Country
South African Wine and Vineyards
The vineyards of South Africa cover 540 acres mainly in the province of Western Cape.
South Africa was the 8th biggest wine producer in the world in 2015 with around 1,130 million liters of wine produced. Most of the production is exported to countries like the UK, Germany, Japan, Russia, Ireland, Denmark.Wine has been produced in South Africa for longer than in any other of the new world countries. In the 1600s, French Huguenots, Dutch and English settled down near the Cap of Good Hope in Constantia, and in the district of Franschhoek where vineyards were planted.
Today, the main grape varieties planted are: Pinotage (SA signature grape), Chenin blanc, Cabernet sauvignon, Colombard, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Syrah, Gewurtztraminer, Riesling, Trebbiano, Sémillon and Muscat d’Alexandrie.
- Visit a South African School: Spend your morning at a local school to support and participate in activities
- Arrive in Franschhoek for lunch and afternoon free to shop in this charming town.
FRANSCHHOEK – Handmade chocolates, handmade furniture, exquisite decor and interiors, works of art, crafts of all kinds, speciality shops and boutiques, Franschhoek has it to come and shop until you drop! You can find high fashion clothing stores, jewelry, antique and interior shops, specialty food stores and wine shops as well as many art galleries, all within easy walking distance in the heart of the village.

DAY 5 – Enjoy the Franschhoek wine region by way of train
- Franschhoek Wine Train – hop on hop off to as many wineries as desired

DAY 6 DRIVE TO THE GARDEN ROUTE – 5-6 Hour drive
- Stay on a private Game Reserve in luxury accommodations –

DAY 7 GARDEN ROUTE EXPLORATION
The Garden Route is one of South Africa’s most popular and interesting stretches of coastline, a temperate landscape of sandy beaches, indigenous forests, rocky shores and quaint towns where you can do everything from savor fresh oysters to watch southern right whales at play.

DAY 8 – Drive to Hermanus Seaside Village 3-5 hours
- Optional stop to visit the most southernmost point of the African Continent, Cape Algulhas
